Trying to Fit It All In

So I go back to work on Wednesday. This is good and bad. Mostly I am just nervous a out leaving Tristan at daycare.

Oh, I hope it goes well. In the meantime, we are having lots of fun.

Playing in the Mud and the Muck

It was finally nice enough to play outside properly -- in the mud.  Does anything get any cuter than little boys in rain boots?

I can't think of anything I would rather be doing on this snowy April afternoon.

He loves to cook.

If I need a few minutes during the day, I bring out Tristan's cooking set. He loves to cook and loves to let me "taste" it.

We are currently in the middle of a blizzard. It is April. I am ready for summer. The end.

Tristan has been doing fairly well entertaining himself lately. This helps me keep my sanity when I am taking care of Morgan.

Naps, Dishes and Baths

Tristan loves to scoot the kitchen chairs over to the sink to help with dishes.  Typically this becomes a huge mess with water everywhere.  We recently had to buy plastic bowls and plates because all of the others have been broken while he is "helping." :)

Here are few more of Morgan taking an afternoon nap in her swing. She loves to get tucked up tight and  just as she is waking up she makes the funniest facial expressions. She also seems to have the most difficult time opening her eyes.

And one more quick shot of Tristan in the bathtub. He is happy here, but really he does not LOVE bath time the way some kids do.  He mostly just tolerates it and usually just wants to stand up and get out.
