Halloween

On Halloween we decided to stay home another year as Tristan was still pretty young to go out for candy.  I did not want to miss the opportunity of dressing him up though.  He was a rabbit for Halloween and a pretty cute one at that.  Although he did not want much to do with the costume.  Mostly he wanted to go in the dog kennel...

Oh well...I was able to get a few cute pictures.

Tristan's One Year Pictures

A few weekends ago my mom came to visit and we took Tristan to the park to take his one year photos.  As the majority of mom's say, I really cannot believe my little baby is already 12 months...actually he is more like 15 months, but either way his birthday has come and gone and my little punkin' is not really a baby anymore.  I see more and more toddler in him everyday.  Today he even helped me pick up his toys.

Well anyway, I am getting off track.  Here are his pictures and I am really excited to share them with you!!

Adam's Birthday (31)

Adam and I both had the day off for his birthday, but it was on a Wednesday and as Adam says, his birthday is always on a Wednesday. :) This means that he never has anything special to do for his birthday.  Oh and he says it always rains....that might be true.  Anyway, we made the best of it.  We went out for breakfast, stopped for coffee at Caribou and went for a long drive up the shore.  We came home to open presents, make a special dinner and eat cake!

Tristan had a nasty cold, but he enjoyed the cake anyway.

Here is the cake Adam picked out and I had to bake.  It was layers of chocolate.  This picture reminds me of a photo from the 1970's.  My mom has a cookbook printed then and all of the pictures were up close like this with dark brown backgrounds.
