Pirate Party Summer 2012

So really it is March 19th of 2013 - I am typing this post about the Pirate Party which was held over six months ago.

I was only a little over two months pregnant with baby Morgan in these pictures and she is now sleeping in my lap as I type this, so my memories are not as clear as I would like them to be.  A good reminder to keep up on my editing and posting.

I do remember that it was a great party, the weather was beautiful and we had lots of good company and good food.

I am pretty sure Tristan was probably the cutest pirate EVER.

I love this shot of my parents.  This is a classic really...my mom standing behind my dad with her hand raised up in a nervous gesture as if the world is about to come crashing down.....or as if something my dad is working on is about to break into a thousand pieces. :)

Tristan's First Birthday

I know this is a really low quality picture.  I snapped it quick with my phone in bad lighting, but he just looks so cute....I had to post it to the blog despite the poor image.

Adam had just brought his birthday presents in from the car when I was getting Tristan out of the bath.  He spotted them right away and he was so proud of himself!

Pool Time and a Little Chocolate

 Sophia came over to play in the pool with Tristan.  Tristan continuously tried to splash Sophia and she did not like it!

.......so, we took a break and ate some chocolate.

Tristan's First Parade

Adam and I took Tristan to his first parade at the beginning of August.  We packed up the stroller, picked up some snacks and were off.  He did not think as much of it as I thought he would have.  Maybe he was a little young yet.  He did however enjoy the licorice and the bottled water. 

We are looking forward to future parades this coming summer though!
